Nanosciences (NS) and nanotechnology (NT) activites at the JSI encompass a variety of research topics, ranging from nanomaterials to bionanodevices, with supporting analytical activites, such as microscopy, spectroscopy and e-beam lithography.

 
A postgraduate course in Nanosceince and Nanotechnology at the Jožef Stefan International postgraduate School gives opportunities for advanced study in a stimulating interdisciplinary environment. 

 

Undergraduate opportunities for research training (diplomas, research projects) are available in collaboration with the University of Ljubljana.

 

A Center of Excellence in NS and NT funded from EU restructuriong funds provides opportunities for Industry for collaboration and analytic services.
